Mini SAga on Sylmar Neighborhood

The city of Sylmar has become a victim of a community's negligence, with the problems with trash, gangs, taggers, and graffiti. Trash mostly left without concern, especially on small streets.

Our PSA (Public Service Anoucement) is on gangs and vandalism(especialy graffiti) and their effects on neighborhoods and communities. We are researching why these two subjects has developed in communities and why do they have a strong impact on neighborhoods. Even though gangs has a negative image they have the power to influence the community into a more positive and productive neighborhood if they work with the community. The community first has to to accept gangs and not discourage or resent the neighborhood gangs but work with them.

In reality gangs and the neighborhood have a common enemy vandals and taggers.
